Hotel Carillon - Haarlem

The 24/7 access to my room was super convenient, and it was so peaceful at night. I loved being close to local shops and soaking in the culture. Each visit just gets better 😊

Really enjoyed this place, it was excellent value and picturesque. The room was perfectly clean with own bathroom. The food was NICE and the bar was lively. We had a real good time staying at this hotel.

There was something as breakfast missing, we were a little disappointed.

Just spent two nights at Carillon, and while the location was awesome, right by the market, the room was tiny and super hot. That check-in process through the bar felt a little odd. Definitely had some character, though!

I had a lot of trouble with the treacherous stairs leading to my room. It's disheartening to share a bathroom that's so dangerously close to the top of those stairs. The noise from outside kept me up almost all night.

No nonsense, just the truth

This place offers a central location with excellent convenience for exploring. The bed was surprisingly comfortable, and the left luggage facility was a handy perk. Our room was far too cold, and we faced issues with hot water and broken fixtures. Service could definitely use some improvement.

The location offers an interesting historical backdrop, right beside the cathedral with a unique view of the bustling square below. This proximity to local restaurants and shops is a definite plus. The room felt cramped and uncomfortable were good. The check-in process was straightforward, yet the bar service seemed overpriced, detracting from the experience. Breakfast was decent, but overall, there's a need for better room maintenance to enhance the stay.

The room I stayed in was quite small and a bit run down, with uncomfortable beds and thin walls. You could hear everything from the neighboring rooms, made sleeping hard. The shower was really cramped, and the whole setup felt tricky. On the bright side, it was clean enough, and I loved the cool location near the market. It had a lot of character, but the room could definitely use some serious attention.

The location in front of a busy central square is ideal for soaking up the local vibe. The friendly couple at the bar/reception creates a warm atmosphere, and I appreciated being able to hold my luggage at the back of the restaurant.

The room was quite cramped for my taste, hard to relax.

Nice overall stay. the rooms are a bit small, but very tidy and a great deal for the price. the variety of accommodations, including large and simple rooms on different ships, is impressive. the staff here is extremely friendly and helpful, a real highlight of the experience! 💫
